How do I get my car back? (GTA V offline)

 As for Franklin, I bought a Z-Type ($10,000,000 car) and completely upgraded it. I then parked the car in the garage of the house, and I saved the game. After a while, I was playing around and I was taken over by the police, I jumped out of the car so as not to destroy it and I started an all-out war with the police. I eventually died and took a taxi to get my Z-Type back, and it wasn't there. I also checked in both my Grove Street garage and the garage of the house, and it wasn't there. What I do?

Your cars are lost / confiscated if you leave them around. Impound is bad and your cars are not guaranteed to be back there.

Since your car isn't there, it's gone forever, sorry.

To protect your cars from getting lost in the future, you can use Single Player Garage Mod.

I had the same problem.

What I did, I went to the vehicle where I only had one car stored (not the one I lost and wanted to retrieve). So I retrieved this car, destroyed it, died and went back to the police vehicle where my car was found.
